Single Phase NETs

Single-phase NETs reduce the insulation requirements of the associated NER by stepping down the secondary voltage. This results in a smaller and more economical solution. In some cases, an additional NER may be required to meet total system impedance. These units also provide a degree of harmonic mitigation.

Three Phase Zigzag Transformers

Zigzag NETs are used to establish a neutral point in systems where one does not exist, such as isolated or delta-connected networks. These can also be paired with an NER to meet desired fault current levels if the transformer alone provides insufficient impedance.
